I am currently working my way, 40mins by 40mins, through both Red Cliff parts 1 and 2. 4hr40mins of pure John Woo madness. I would have watched the entire thing in one sitting but a combination of newborn child, food poisoning and pushy computer illiterate in-laws have prevented me from a good free 5 hours to relax. Suffice to say, the transfer and sound is absolutely breathtaking.

You had any luck finishing Red Cliff yet? I loved the near 5 hour version, but the shorter version was butchered a fair bit . Lucky the long version is a pretty reasonable price now.

I just watched Monsters Inc., top notch visuals as can be expected from a pixar film!

Just finished Part 1 last night. I got the 2 disc for 9 pound on amazon.co.uk. I originally had it from 101cd, but a snafu occurred with them sending me the international version. Their returns process was very easy and painless, and I paid less for the proper one off Amazon anyway. I just ordered Afro Samurai Season 1 off Amazon.co.uk, can you believe it is only 4 pound something at the moment? That's freaking insane!!

Just watched the 1989 Batman on the weekend. Excellent video quality for a catalogue title, don't like the film as much as I did prior to the lastest two installments though.

Inglorious Basterds, loved it at much as I did in the cinema .
